3 parts Psyllium seed
3 parts Licorice root
2 parts Rhubarb root (Rheum officinale)
2 parts Senna pods, crushed
2 parts Angelica root
Drink as a simple tea/infusion in the evening.

2 tablespoons of Buckthorn bark over a year old
2 tablespoons of Caraway or fennel seeds

Rhubarb Remedy
3 Stalks of rhubarb
1 Cup Apple juice
1/4 of a peeled lemon
1 tbl honey
Puree three stalks of rhubarb without the leaves. Add one cup of apple juice, a quarter of a peeled lemon and one tablespoon of honey. It will make a thick, tart drink that should get your bowels moving.
